two fiction markets

Things have been a little hectic lately (I'm working on getting a third job) so I don't have many updates. But here are two cool short fiction markets that both pay.

Reflection's Edge is an online zine that accepts science fiction, fantasy, and horror stories between 500 and 10,000 words. Payment is $15 for electronic rights, with one featured story per month earning an extra $50 bonus. Simultaneous submissions OK but no reprints. Response time is two months.

EveryDayWeirdness.com is looking for "weird" flash fiction and poetry (under 1,000 words). Pays $5.42 per story/poem by PayPal. For a taste of what the editors are looking for, check out "Left" by Icy Sedgwick.

A third job? Dude. Writing is a full time job in it's own right. Life would be pretty good if we didn't have to work so much.

It sure would!

Three jobs?! Yikes. Don't burn yourself out Greg.

In other news, Everyday Weirdness accepted a poem of mine and they have an awesome little automated system for getting everything done. I'm pretty impressed with it and intend to send them more of my work in the future.
